Before release
Pond Panic’s release privacy policy will describe the actual published app, including local game data, any advertising services, purchase processing, and any diagnostic or analytics services that are included. Those integrations and disclosures are still being finalized.
The planned free-to-download game includes advertising and an optional purchase to remove ads. This describes the intended release model, not a statement that production advertising or billing is already active.
What the final policy needs to explain
- Which data the app and its service providers collect, use, and share.
- The purposes of processing and the providers or categories of recipients.
- Data retention, security, deletion requests, and available privacy choices.
- The intended audience and any applicable children’s privacy practices.
- How advertising consent and purchases work in the released app.
